This course is designed to equip the students with basic dressmaking skill.

Course Structure

• Students will first learn about the essential pieces in a sewing kit or necessary types of dressmaking equipment and the function of the parts of a sewing machine.
• They will learn how to take measurement of the body for drafting a pattern,
• Students will learn patterning, cutting and sewing of a blouse and skirt.

ADVANCED DRESSMAKING COURSE

Students at the advanced level will learn to sew more complex clothes such as trousers/pants, frocks, gowns and jackets / outer coats.
