Brief History
For more than 2 decades, this migrant ministry has served well over tens of thousands of foreign workers who work in Singapore mainly as domestic workers and construction workers.
It conducted as it is now a variety of life skill courses for these foreign domestic workers on their days off.
Besides it provided cooked food and dry foodstuff and fresh vegetables to construction and other workers. It was then known as the Novena Filipino Community.
In 2009 its name was changed to DAWN to reflect more accurately the inclusiveness of our service to all migrants who not only come from the Philippines but all Asian countries as well.
